3 years back we all got amazed after seeing the tremendous whimsical journey of Now You See Me with the whole cast of veteran actors. They succeeded in spell bounding us with their smooth performances and doing justice to the characters. This year John M. Chu came again with the criminal magician caper Now You See Me 2 but with greater improvements as compared to previous part.
In this Sequel there are character shake ups, tighter group chemistry, more action and illusions to make you go swirled. Thank God! Well the major twist that surprised and delighted major Now You See Me 2 fans was the appearance of a new character in form of Daniel Radcliffe. The other major cast includes Jesse Eisenburg, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Michael Caine.
Now You See Me 2 nattily starts with Morgan Freeman narrating a couple of the key points from the original. Previous, Now You See Me revolved around a bunch of magicians stealing money from a rich guy and later being chased by FBI agent Dylan Rhodes.
In this new part, you will see that one year after outwitting the FBI and winning the heart of many people through their mind boggling spectacles. The magicians starts doing the same tricks covertly but later being told no need to do all this with serendipity. They get kidnapped by Harry Potter who wants them to steal something from a guy. For the people they’re the heroes because they’re stealing from people with evil intentions. The magicians are called Four Horsemen consisting of Danny Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder and Lula May. Smart viewers will note that the Isla Fisher character has been replaced by Lizzy Caplan.
So basically Now You See Me 2 is not a dull, it’s a slick and it will sometimes even amaze. The story is good but not extraordinary, the characters are witty and most of them are well developed even with little faults. You should watch this movie and your pleasure will depend on whether you can shun your confusion and let the magic of misdirection wash over you.
